Co: Create was a collaborative project with Christine Dorobiala. She and I partnered with PARC, a non-profit organization located in Saint Petersburg that assists adults with developmental disabilities. We utilized our design skills to promote awareness and challenge the stigmas associated with physical and mental disabilities. Through several facilitated learning sessions with the children and adults, we taught them how to create cyanotypes. With their artwork, we designed materials to market towards future volunteers.
* Co: Create was presented to 8 Florida State Senators at the USF Arts + Sciences Symposium and was featured in Florida Inspired, a traveling exhibition throughout the state of Florida during 2016-2017.
